Name ideas with AI

How it works

1. In the project + › Find a name (or Find a name inside a search).
2. In the Name ideas sheet, set what matters to you (see below).
3. Generate ideas – this takes a few seconds.
4. Look through the ideas: the reasoning, possible origin, the spelling in its original script.
5. Select what you like and Add N names.

Not happy? Generate again or Adjust context.

You need an account and the internet.

What shapes the result

• the kind of name and the search title, plus the project description
• name languages – up to five, e.g. German, Persian, Italian
• name script – Latin, original script or both
• Avoid problematic meanings – the AI steers clear of names with unfortunate meanings in other languages
• region – Use current region asks for your location once and sends only the country and a broad region, never coordinates
• context for your name ideas – free text: sound, length, what does not fit, siblings’ names …
• the names already in the project – they are not suggested again

Tip: the same request usually gives the same result. For something new, change the context or add a language.

On a name, AI details shows the reasoning, origin, languages and AI tags. Find more names like this starts a new request built on that name.

Earlier lists are under Previous suggestions (clock icon) – reopening one does not cost a new run.

How many runs you have

An AI run is one request. Only runs that succeed count, over the last 24 hours:

When they are used up, the app tells you when the next one is possible. What your plan allows right now is always under Settings › Your plan. With own AI (from Pro), name searches do not count.

What the AI is not

The suggestions are inspiration, not facts. Origins and meanings can be wrong – for a name that really matters, check them. Words you blocked in Tag Manager are quietly filtered out.
